Interview with Julie

How did you first hear of Kroschu?

It was on StepStone.

What made you pick Kroschu as an employer?

Kroschu is neither too small, nor is it a huge corporation. The company is also international and focused on the future, for instance if you think of the production of electric cars.

What sets the company apart?

The things that really drew me to Kroschu were the flat hierarchies, the international structure with the numerous locations around the world and the opportunity to travel on business.

What do you like in particular about Kroschu?

The team, team management, the varied tasks, the collaboration between all the different departments, the way you are quickly assigned responsibility and the international colleagues.

Which benefits do you appreciate especially?

I would say it is the canteen here at the Abensberg site and the flexitime arrangements.

What is especially important to you in regard to work/life balance? How does the company support you?

I can work from home, and the flexitime arrangements are really helpful if I have an important appointment.

How would you describe the mood at Kroschu?

The Abensberg site is not so big, so you know many of your colleagues from other departments. There is a positive mood here in my department, and we meet up after work as well.

How good is the teamwork, and what measures does Kroschu take to foster cohesion within the company?

Cooperation in my team is really strong. We have a ‘one for all and all for one’ mentality. Questions are always welcome and part of our hands-on approach. There is also the Christmas party and one each year in summer as well, and they are both really good for team bonding.

Would you recommend Kroschu? And if so, why?

Yes. That is mainly due to the familial atmosphere, the flat hierarchies and the international structures.

What is your job title at Kroschu and what do you do exactly?

I have been employed as a junior specialist for controlling in the customer care centre at Kroschu since 1 January 2022.

How has Kroschu supported your career development?

After onboarding – both as part of the team and in other departments – Kroschu continued to support me with training, for example in project management and basic training at the factory.

What does your team look like at Kroschu?

I belong to a team of around 15 employees.

What has been your most exciting project at Kroschu so far?

All of the projects we manage in project and sales controlling are exciting in their own way. There are always challenges, for example after changes in customer requirements or production sites. One thing I find particularly exciting is the collaboration across several departments or even plants.

Have you every considered switching to one of the international locations at Kroschu to acquire new professional experience?

Not actively. But you never know what the future might bring.

How do you see the opportunities for career development at Kroschu?

My next step would be promotion to senior specialist.

What career prospects do the employees in your department have?

Every option is open in my department: from career entrant positions to managerial functions with responsibility for other staff members or even expert roles.

What advice would you give someone who would like to apply to Kroschu?

Anyone looking to be assigned responsibility without delay, even as a young professional, or to work in a familial but international environment has come to the right place here. ;-)
